Anthony graduated from Rutgers College, Cum Laude in 1979 and Rutgers University School of Law-Camden, Cum Laude in 1982. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1982. Thereafter, he served as judicial clerk to The Honorable Stanley G. Bedford, J.S.C., New Jersey Superior Court, Law Division, Essex County. Anthony currently holds many positions in various legal organizations including, Master in The Justice Brennan Inn of Court, Co-Chair of the Essex County Bar Association's Civil Litigation Committee and a member of the American Trial Lawyers Association of New Jersey. Anthony is a former Officer of the Young Lawyers Division of the Essex County Bar Association and a former Member of the District V Ethics Committee.
Anthony is a successful plaintiff's personal injury litigation attorney. One of his most notable cases, recognized in Verdict Search as one of the top ten verdicts of 2005, was a premise liability case where the jury returned a verdict for over $7.25 million dollars. He is also an exceptional General Commercial and Estate Litigation attorney and has been certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Civil Trial Attorney since 1994.
Anthony is a member of the bars of the United States Supreme Court, Third Circuit Court of Appeals, Second Circuit Court of Appeals, Federal Court for the Southern District of New York, New Jersey Federal District Court, the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Essex County Bar Association.
Anthony has also tried over seventy-five cases to verdict and he has had twelve precedent setting cases published in the New Jersey State and Federal Court case law reporters.
