Robert A. Gaccione, senior partner and founder of Gaccione, Pomaco and Malanga, graduated from Seton Hall University (1963), where he was President of the student body, and Georgetown University Law School (1966). He was admitted to New Jersey Bar in 1966. For three years thereafter, Robert was a FBI Agent. He has an array of experience, holding positions in numerous organizations such as: Former Chairman, for the District V Ethics Committee, Commissioner and President of the Essex County Tax Board, Special Master of the New Jersey Supreme Court for Ethics Hearings, Member and former Chairman of Clara Maas Hospital Foundation; Member of Clara Maass Hospital Board of Trustees; Member of Board of directors of American Savings Bank, Member and former President of Belleville Rotary, former President of Seton Hall University Alumni Association, Former Chairman Marketing Task Force Chancellor's Advisory Counsel for Seton Hall University, member of Board of Trustees of Belleville Foundation, former member of Board of Trustees of Craig Fund, former President of Forest Hill Field Club, Former member of Upsala College Advisory Board, coach for Verona Little League, former member of Bioethics Committee of Clara Maas Medical Center, former member of Franklin Bank Board of Directors; former member of N.J. Tax Assessment Study commission, and volunteer instructor for Zoning and Planning Education Courses.
Robert's legal experience is just as noteworthy as his organizational affiliations. He has represented over 350 land use applicants, including clients such as Clara Maas Hospital, First Dewitt Bank, Lukens Steel, Walgreens, John Martello, Canella Builders, University hospital in Newark, Myland and Valk Architects, Montclair YMCA, Cali Builders, CVS, KFC, Girl Scouts of America, Sprint PCS. He is also associate Counsel of and speaker for New Jersey Planning Officials and their seminars. Robert A. Gaccione was former counsel to Verona Planning Board, the town of Kearny and township of Belleville and is now the attorney for the Verona Zoning Board.
